genesis Literary & Arts Magazine
Senior Editor | 2024
Editor | 2022-2024
I'm privileged to have joined the IU-Indianapolis' genesis Literary & Arts Magazine editing team in 2022. Since 1973, our campus literary magazine has been spotlighting student works of poetry, creative nonfiction, comics, art, scripts, photography-- giving many people their first taste of their own creations in print.
Our 2023 issue earned IU-Indy 3rd Place at the Inter Collegiate Press Awards! Check out our newest issue, just released April 22, 2024.

We provide overwatch services, for events hosted by marginalized communities, in order to stand in the gap against protestors - because we swore an oath that remains our guiding principle. We walk and stand with organizations across Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Pennsylvania, and other states. We work with and serve LGBTQIA+, Transgender, BLM, Reproductive Rights, Human Rights and other focused movements.

Speculative Play & Just Futurities
Advisory Board Member | 2024

“Speculative Play and Just Futurities” concentrates on creating spaces for composing, theorizing, and discussing literature (in its broadest scope) with an eye to imagining and enacting just futures that can challenge historic oppressions and unjust systems.
April 2024 holds three artists in residence: poet Thomas Kneeland, podcaster Patrick Armstrong, and Houstonian curator Reyes Ramirez. Don't miss out-- come and join us.
